    The spinning plate …
The spinning plate is what pushes the sound outward. The dome that has the motor on top of it is where the chopper is. You see instead of having the chopper face sideways its actually facing downward. The sound comes down from the spinning chopper and when it hits the dome, the force of the sound gets pushed outward to make it reach far. THAT is why they call this siren a “Thunderbeam.”
