From the “vaults”… Cajun/Zydeco band Acadiana performs “Back Door Cajun” at Channel Islands Harbor, in Oxnard, California, on April 27, 1997.
This Acadiana “original” features great solos from Phil Salazar on violin and Teresa Russell on guitar. Also featured is Terry Tintorri on accordion, who founded Acadiana in 1992.
* Sadly Terry passed away unexpectedly in June 2002, but his joyful, infectious, and much loved spirit lives on in Acadiana music today.

Despite her “protestations” to the contrary, guitarist Teresa Russell “rocks out” Zydeco style, along with Phil Salazar on violin and Terry Tintorri on accordion, in an Acadiana original song… “I Don’t Do No Rock ‘n Roll”!
* Sadly Terry (who founded Acadiana in 1992) passed away unexpectedly in June 2002, but his joyful, infectious, and much loved spirit lives on in Acadiana music today.

An Acadiana original, “Guitar Lady” was co-written by guitarist Teresa Russell and accordionist Terry Tintorri. This lively and fun song features terrific “turns” by Teresa and Terry, as well as violinist Phil Salazar. Featured throughout is the fantastic washboard/rubboard playing of talented and charismatic Pat Patterson!
