Yep I’m a limey but an adopted “coonass” (redneck with hot sauce) I really fell in love with SE Lousiana and was sad to leave in 2004, but I got out in time it seems. Haven’t been back yet. want to but also don’t want to want to remember as was.

    LA rocks!

You really captured the essence of the Intracoastal. I tracelled from Lake Charles to Grand Isle last november on a 42ft sports fishing boat and had to make an emergency stop at Fouchon due to a faulty fuel gauge. I wish I’d had the foresight to video the trip. You sound like a limey, me to. Keep up the good work.
