Actually a film has been taken which shows an undefined figure walking past a forest on ariver bank.It is still a topic of debate whether the film is real or forged.

Yeah… "Grand Pied"… very dangerous. I hear he can be lured away from towns and villages with large bowls of really spicy gumbo.

(Err… ok, no, I have never heard of that. ;)

There have been many documented sightings of Bigfoot in Louisiana, including one case in the 1970’s where one was seen to carry off two large hogs. Police and tracker dogs traced the footprints (and pig blood) to the local bayou where the trail was lost in the waters. The experts measured the depth of the footprints and determined that after removing the pig’s weight, they were made by a five hundred pound animal.

Bigfoot, (also known as Sasquatch), is the name of a phenomenon which has polarised people around the world, being either the product of vivid imagination or a creature that has somehow avoided close observation or capture by man.

Bigfoot is described as a large, bipedal hairy humanoid creature living in remote wilderness areas of the United States and Canada, specifically those in southwestern Canada, the Great Lakes, the Pacific Northwest, the Rocky Mountains, the forests of the U.S. Northeast, and the U.S. Southern states. Some claim it is a creature which may be found around the world under different regional names, such as the Yeti, or is at least a closely related species. Sightings have allegedly occurred in Malaysia, China, Russia, Australia, South America and Hawaii. [1] [2] [3]

The majority of scientists reject the possibility of the creature’s existence, and consider the stories of Bigfoot to be a combination of unsubstantiated folklore and hoax. This is due to current scientific knowledge plus the lack of bones or a body.
