i live in lousiana and so does my bf right now im 13 and hes 15 and his birthday is 2 years and 3 months before mine and we actually love eachother and have alot in common . my best friend told me that if hes 18 when im 16 we have to break up cause its illegal in lousiana.
Dating is not illegal. Anything sexual is. So if you are doing anything, oral, anal, vaginal, fingering or otherwise. He can go to jail.
If he goes to jail, he will be labeled a rapist and a pedophile for the rest of his life.
I mailed a letter today (it went out with our mail today) to my boyfriend who lives in Lousiana. How long will it take for it to get there? (I live in Michigan). How many days?

Most likely he will get it tomorrow or the next day. It really doesn’t take that long for letters to go from state to state.

The first answer is correct. However I would like to add to that answer.
Thomas Jefferson was what we call a "Strict Constructionist". Translation: He looked at the Constitution for permission to do anything.
The Constitution does not give Thomas Jefferson permission to buy land.
A Loose Constructionist looks at the Constitution to see if it stops you from doing something. No, well then I can do something because it does not say I can’t.
Thomas Jefferson sent envoys to France to buy New Orleans. Napoleon needed the money to fight his wars and instead offered to sell all of the Louisiana Purchase. President Jefferson had a problem the Constitution did Not say they could buy the Land. President Jefferson want to get an amendment to the U. S. Constitution for permission to buy the land. The men around him told him it would take too long and to agree to the buy the land and send the treaty to the Senate to be ratified. Then he should send the bill to the House of Representatives. If each group accepted then we had the land without permission of the Constitution. That made him a Loose Constructionist but it was too good of a deal to pass up. So that is what President did. The House paid, the Senate ratified and the land was ours.
PS The U. S. A. did not have the $ to pay for the land so we borrowed the $ from England.

New Orleans is the only American city whose name changes in French . I thought about it but I couldn’t find another one . In England there are some .

I’ve been thinking about drop out of high school and I was wondering the legal age to drop out with parental consent. I heard that you can enroll back into school after you drop out and I wanted to drop out for the remainder of this year because of personal problems. Is that true?

Project boat I hope to get in the water this spring. Had everything transfered to me from previous owner through a Title company. I never forwarded anything to fish and game, I have a title for the boat trailer and I have current registration card for both. I am trying to find the boat title. No luck!

It was just a complete wooooow to me when I learned that the U.S. would have never doubled in size if it wasn’t for Napoleon’s loss of interest in the New World because of the revolution
how come the school text books don’t teach us that?
It could be a lot of reasons. It could be bias on the part of the textbook company, it could be that the authors didn’t feel that information was pertinenet for their spacing restrictions (every word costs a lot of money…think of millions upon millions of copies of a textbook are made, and then updated versions every year or so), it could just be the text that you had. I actually can’t remember if I learned that from a teacher or my text. But I was informed of this in High School.

Try Craigslist and look for "ride shares". You can usually find some one headed any direction and pay for 1/2 of the gas.
