Here is a link to the Menu:
Dinner: http://allears.net/dlr/din/menu/men_bayd.htm

Since you are going there for Dinner what I always order is Five-Pepper Roast New York it is melt in your mouth good, my boy friend had the Filet Mignon and after he had a bite of mine he said he would have preferred the Pepper roast rather then the Filet Mignon which is only $3.00 more. I've always been told you can't subsitute the sides my brother who doesn't like vegetables couldn't get more of the Blue Bayou potatoes (which are there take on Scallop potatoes)

The Monte Cristo which is only on the lunch menu is the best although the one at Cafe Orleans is cheaper and also as good as the one in Blue Bayou.
Blue Bayou is expensive but it doesn't have to be, we always go there and get a split plate which is a $5.00 charge but you each get your salad or gumbo and when the split the plate it is still a really big meal you will definitely be full . If you don't care about the money then also order The Flying Dutchman Cookie Boat it is the best and dessert comes with a "Pirates" booty keepsake!
References :
Annual Passholder

My favorite entree is also Filet Mignon but this place is called "Blue Bayou." Go Cajun...jambalaya and a Monte Cristo sandwich OR Cajun-inspired wedge salad and gumbo.

For dessert...crème brulee
References :
Their menu changes occasionally. I like their prime rib when they have it. They do allow subsitutions but their choices are limited.
But here is a couple tips.
The Monte Cristo sandwiches are also available in the restaurant that is just before the BB on the right (I think it is called Cafe Royal). And is lower in price.
There is a better restaurant that offers steaks. It is either Steakhouse 55 or Disney 55 located in the Disneyland Hotel in the convention center building next to Goofy's Kitchen. The only thing it does not have the BB does is a view of the Pirates boats. The good news is that it is quiet, has several cuts of prime grade steaks and other foods plus it has an excellent wine list (try the Cinnabar - Mercury Rising) and full bar. It does run a bit more than BB. A dessert I always order is a dessert soufflé that you should order about 15 minutes ahead of time.
References :
I love the Monte Cristo sandwich there. They changed the menu a few years ago and I think you can only get it at lunch now, but they did make it for us right after the menu changed.

They allowed me to substitute steamed veggies for my side, even though they aren't on the meny.

BB is my favorite place to eat when I go visit the D-Land. The setting is awesome, the food is great and the service is pleasant. It is a fantastic break from the pace of the park.
