I want a nice winter home in a Louisiana Bayou, how expensive would this be and is it a good idea?

I think the swampland of the Louisiana Bayous are very pretty. I’ve always wanted a place in the scenic Southeastern part of the United States and live in the beautiful bayous and have trees with spanish moss. How possible is this? And are all the nice homes there extremely expensive?

You will never know if ideas work out unless you try a few. Better to live on a houseboat and travel all over the Bayou and see what you want to see. Catch a fish for lunch and a few crawdads for dinner. You might want a few guns too in case those alligators decide to have you for a meal, I understand they can be very aggressive. A nice houseboat may cost about $90,000. dollars.
