There is a different size orifice that must be changed out. Natural gas is heavier, thus it requires an orifice with a large opening. The LP gas is a liquid, thus the opening is smaller. Contact the manufacturer, and give them all the info on the cooker, and they will tell you if a conversion kit is available! Good luck!

Get the make, model and serial number of the gas valve of your cooker. the gas valve can be converted via a regulator kit from the MFG.
Find an appliance parts company in your area; they can get you the gas valve regulator conversion kit. It consists of 2 screws, a regulator plate and a colored spring.

I’m not familiar with bayou, but I would right down any numbers or brand names on the gas valve usually behind the temperture control knob then locate a restaurant supply store, some hardware stores, or probably a good bet would be a air conditioning and heating company that can steer you to info or even a part source. good luck.. and by the way LP gas is not the gas of choice to be exsperimenting with, so be careful if you for any reason you descide to hook LP back up after modifying system for NG.
