in louisianna is it required to get a blood sample at the hospital to check for alcohol after a auto accident?

we wre in an auto accident and i think the driver had a few drinks prior though showing no signs of being drunk we were all taken to the hospital where they drew blood from the driver had blood drawn do you think the insurance company will require a sample to be tested

The only time that blood can be mandatory is in a fatal crash. Or, if you are arrested for DUI and can not blow or the police want to have blood so that they can check for alcohol and drug use.

Other than that, the diagnostic blood samples taken by the hospital are not just routinely used in a DUI case. They are not considered evidence. The Prosecutor CAN subpoena the hospital / medical records… It is up to the court if they can be used in evidence. This all depends if he is charged with DUI at the time.

As far as the insurance company, they too could try for a subpoena to get the diagnostic blood records. But, they, of course, can not file any criminal charges.

can the u.s. government sell land on the west coast, in order to pay off debts that american capitalist have sold our our economy and regain a righteous prospective in the world ecnonomy?
or will the U.S. go to war and just try to delete the burden of debt and the winner takes all?

Could the U.S. do it, Yes. That isn’t, however, a good idea and further we have non incorporated territories we would sell long before even thinking about selling state lands.

What are fun things to do around Carmel/Monterey bay?

Posted by admin on November 30th, 2009 and filed under carmel | 1 Comment »

My boyfriend and I are celebrating our 2year anniversary at Monterey/Carmel this coming weekend er rather Sun-Mon. We’re on a very tight budget but i still would like to have a good time. What is there to do around there besides the usual stuff (beach, aquarium, 17mile dr, wine tasting, shopping). Also any suggestions on restaurants that are tastey but cheap?

I live in Michigan but visited San Francisco for a few days last fall. I drove down the coast highway and when I got to Monterey I went on one of those Whale watching trips. Saw some whales so that was cool. From what I saw of Monterey there probably aren’t many cheap restaurants but there are many restaurant rating sites on the web. I ate on the pier and it was somewhat over priced. The Italian festival was going on at the time but my stomach was not in the mood for ethnic food LOL.

What is good to eat at the Blue Bayou Restaurant at Disneyland?

i’m eating dinner there on Thursday, and have never eaten there before. I know its expensive like $20-$40 a person. I’m kind of leaning to get the Filet Mignon. And can i substitute sides?

Here is a link to the Menu:
Dinner: http://allears.net/dlr/din/menu/men_bayd.htm

Since you are going there for Dinner what I always order is Five-Pepper Roast New York it is melt in your mouth good, my boy friend had the Filet Mignon and after he had a bite of mine he said he would have preferred the Pepper roast rather then the Filet Mignon which is only $3.00 more. I’ve always been told you can’t subsitute the sides my brother who doesn’t like vegetables couldn’t get more of the Blue Bayou potatoes (which are there take on Scallop potatoes)

The Monte Cristo which is only on the lunch menu is the best although the one at Cafe Orleans is cheaper and also as good as the one in Blue Bayou.
Blue Bayou is expensive but it doesn’t have to be, we always go there and get a split plate which is a $5.00 charge but you each get your salad or gumbo and when the split the plate it is still a really big meal you will definitely be full . If you don’t care about the money then also order The Flying Dutchman Cookie Boat it is the best and dessert comes with a "Pirates" booty keepsake!

Where is a military base in the state of Louisana that would have units of Marines?

Posted by admin on November 28th, 2009 and filed under louisana | 1 Comment »

The unit might be one of regentmental commands or another branch of the service that have Marine units assigned to them.

Marine Corp has no bases in Louisiana.

Navy has one in New Orleans, and Army has one in Fort Polk.

Air Force has one in Barksdale.
